This was one of the early Mixed media paintings of 2014, inspired as I progressed by using a newspaper article notification of a debutant party in Wilmington Delaware in about 1963 where I grew up. In contrast a picture from the gulf war showing the oil fields a blaze in retaliation. Additionally, there are also funny paper comics.

Mixed Media Painting on paper: acrylic, house paint - 22” X 30” - 2014

The paintings are made with a combination of professional acrylics, Mixed media, house paint, charcoal, markers and varnish as the artist determine is most appropriate at the time he is working. Some paintings are made on acid free watercolor paper, prepared masonite with 1" X 2" or similar wood pieces to add structure and stability.
