Flowers and Shame

New product

This Mixed Media Painting includes two photographs of tulip fields which I took in Holland a few years ago with a news paper article about the advent of new rubber bullets. When I visited the tulips I felt such an immense feeling of peace plus recollections of visiting the flower market in Amsterdam when 14 years old with my folks.  It was in the Hague of Holland  where I visited a large International modern art exhibition that I was inspired to become a modern artist.

Painted on wood panel: Mixed Media- Acrylic and house paint, 30” X 24” X 2 1/2” -2016

The paintings are made with a combination of professional acrylics, Mixed media, house paint, charcoal, markers and varnish as the artist determine is most appropriate at the time he is working. Some paintings are made on acid free watercolor paper, prepared masonite with 1" X 2" or similar wood pieces to add structure and stability.
